The open sided magnet is suited for orthopedic exams with specialized extremity coiled equipment for detailed orthopedic work. This full body scanner can also be used for brain and spinal imaging. A compassionate and understanding staff also welcomes patients who suffer from medical conditions such as claustrophobia and anxiety disorders. MRI Patient Services Coordinator Kathy Rozycki, makes sure our patients are well prepared and educated about their MRI scan so the experience is comfortable and relaxing. The MRI scans are read by Gateway's Board Certified Radiologists.
